Delay between acute infection and long-haul symptoms?

Trying to get a feel for how many people experienced a delay between their acute infection and long-haul symptoms. Thanks to the winter surge, many of us are totally new here and are trying to figure out what to expect.

I've read many reports of people recovering from the initial acute stage and feeling totally fine and then experiencing regressions in health weeks or months afterward.

Also, it's hard to put into this particular poll without making it overly cumbersome to answer, but I'm also interested to hear whether your long-haul symptoms were "triggered" by some event. For example, some people report that a strenuous exercise session or a stressful week of work marked the onset of their long-haul stage of COVID. Are we seeing people six months out from initial infection deciding to go on a run and then becoming long haulers? Feel free to let us know about your experience in the comments. (This may just be a totally different poll that's worth creating.)

Other useful question to answer here would be: Did your long-haul COVID symptoms get markedly worse or more numerous over time, and when did that happen (>=1 month, >= 3 months, etc.)? Perhaps this is also worth a different poll, and I definitely don't want to embed those options into this poll for fear of making it way too complicated.
