Help with hyperpigmentation / red acne scarring.

What's the best method of getting rid of post acne scarring? I'm left with red little dots all over my cheeks where active acne once lived.

But now it's inactive, I'm stuck with red marks. Will I need laser treatment or will they fade over time with harsher products?

I'm using retinol and azelaic acid at the mo.
