Worth to invest in a cordless clipper?

I want to buy my first cordless clipper (either Wahl Magic Clip or Wahl Senior) - mainly because they are the only clippers on the market with a fade blade, compared to a taper one (i just want to try a fade blade, as I've only read good things about them).

However, the fact that it's cordless, means the battery will lose charge over time. I want this clipper to last me at least a few years, so the battery becomes a potential issue

What would you guys recommend?
