Thank you for the lovely comment and the insightful feedback over specific lines, I really appreciate it!

I think you really captured some of the essence of being gaslit.

"Let's look for the vices in my morals"

Reminds me of a bit of narcissism. Never being good enough for their standards.

".... In favor of your adorable charm"
Its so true how quickly we forgive things that we shouldn't because we try to focus on the good in people. Even when it hurts us.

Would love to see this feeling explored even deeper.
Beautiful

Thanks for the comment :)

The imagery is what I was going for, to take the word "gaslighting" and make its anger visual. I'm glad it came off nicely!

love the consistent sonnet structure! the word choices remind me of a phoenix. i like the title with the fiery imagery, very nice poem mate

I’m a sucker for good structure - this poem makes me happy!

Nice rhyming of world with hurled - that one can be tricky to work in my opinion.

Tone is frustrated, but taking a stand. I like! Nice poem.

Thanks for the comment! You aptly captured what I was going for - to go from feeling angry to the visual image of the word "gaslighting". I'm glad you liked it :)

I like the angle- poetry about gaslighting in its psychological meaning, finalized with gaslit as its literal meaning; a raging fire ultimately quantifying how much that person has gaslit through the size of the fire. At least thats how I took it. I liked this, well done

Quality content along with great end word rhymes . Like a lot this poem .

I love the structure of the poem and the way that you describe gaslighting. It’s a tough thing to put into words, much less a structured poem.
