I'm so intrigued by the story behind this poem! I want to know more about all the locations and people that are mentioned here. What is the significance of that American Apparel store, and the significance of your car, and the curator friend and David? If you can expand on a few of the people and places, I think you will be conveying a very colorful experience.

The beginning of this poem really caught my eye! I'm not exactly sure what's going on here but I like the way it's written and it's definitely engaging.

My curator friend

made fun of me

mercilessly

when he found

mapquest directions

in the backseat

of my '96 Acura TL.

storefront
