Fastest ways to destroy a soul?

5th Edition

As the title suggests, I am wondering what are some of the fastest ways (in 5th edition) a soul can be destroyed?

I understand that a Nabassu (from MToF) appears to be able to destroy a soul within an hour of death, and souls can be destroyed in Hellfire Furnaces that are the engines of Infernal War Machines (DIA) in 24 hours if only 1 charge left on a soul coin.

Please let me know if there are other relatively quick methods. (I understand from SCaG that souls can evenually be destroyed after being mortared into the Wall of the Faithless, am looking for something that would make it difficult to raise dead/resurrection/true resurrection which have 1 hour casting times).

Get a barghest (volo's guide) to eat it. They're born into goblin families, but if you have access to the lower planes you could run into one that entered a yugoloth's service after death, at which point you can just pay some yugoloth to let you use their barghest as soul disposal.

The Skull from a deck of many things, if you die to it your soul is immediately destroyed and cannot be brought back to life.

This is interesting, really opens up an entirely different encounter.

At that point time travel is the only way you are bringing that person back

Certain creatures eat your soul if you die near them. For example, Nightwalkers, your DM may rule that it will just consume any soul that comes near it without a living body.

This is awesome - well, awful. The character in question was already going to be encountering a Nightwalker, so this fits perfectly. I mean horrifically.

Yeaaaaahh welp. If you get dropped to 0hp within range of it, pretty sure it just Noms your soul

He's dating a genasi and there are genie all over the place, this could work.
