Is it possible for two planets in the same sign to be in different houses?

My Sun and Venus are both in Pisces and my second house is in Pisces, so both planets should be in my second house, right? I’m not sure if it’s just the way the wheel chart is but it looks like my sun is in my first house instead of second, is this actually possible or is this just the design of the wheel chart confusing me?

You're using the placidus house system. That's why. Any quadrant house system, like placidus, etc., will chop up the signs -- they won't match the house cusps. I use only whole sign houses which keeps the entirety of one sign within one house. You might give that a try and see what you think. Be aware it may move some of your planets into other houses. But just play with it, paying attention to the planetary rulers of each house and their conditions.

Can I just ask how to use the whole system? I'm on Astroseek and there's Aries 0 degrees and so on so forth. How do we know which one to choose?

Here's some screenshot instructions for astro-seek.com Just follow them to get your whole sign houses chart. You'll use the house system option called "Whole Sign (H1-H7 horizontal)"

How to set Whole Sign houses at astro-seek.

Yes, that happens with the placidus system. I have 4 planets in gemini, 2 in the 7th house and the other 2 in the 8th house but only the 8th house cusp is in gemini.
