Worth every hour of stabbing - 8 hours is but a tiny portion of the time I've spent with Hades, which has easily become my #1 game ever. 😍
Was the pain more or less than the pain of dieing to Theseus?
But seriously though, nice ink.
Honestly? less 😂 The pain now in the healing stage is pretty sore though.
i felt pain while reading this
Hm. As Long as you Like it.

Whoah. EIGHT hours?! I did five on my arm tattoo and was thankful it was over. I rather enjoyed most of it until that last hour or 45 minutes. It's weird--my body just started to get shaky and weird. The tattoo artist said it was normal though. He actually laughed and said that he'd get this giant macho-men types coming in and tapping out at two hours. Then skinny guys like I used to be walk in and last 5-8 hours. So dude, you're a beast.
As for your tattoo, the line work is amazing, and I really love the blue colouring. I find blue looks either absolutely gorgeous, or looks 'bleh.' Your artist nailed it!
yeahhh it was getting real sore by the end, but I didn't see the point in tapping out once we got going (just a lunch break and some water stops). There's a little bit more to get finished on it (wing edges and the blood splashes) but we pushed past his usual close time and made a call to stop.
100% agree with the shakes and weirdness, I think after enough the brain/body just gives up and needs it to end. I generally find the process fairly cathartic though! (This is my 4th tat, but definitely the "biggest" and first with colour)
Artist did an amazing job, definitely! I really like his call for her skin - Meg's so pale that it wouldn't hold too well as a colour or look great, so he did just highlights which trick the brain into thinking it's all coloured. Really cool. I'm stoked with the shading on her wristband and toga too!
Ooooooh. That makes a lot more sense that it's not your first!!! So at least your body had some kind of prep. But yeah, it's huge. And colour gives a whole other sensation, I think, since it's constantly going over and over to add shading and depth. I agree though--it feels SO good. Is it bad that I wish I had the money for another tattoo, just because I loved the feeling?
Holy. I didn't realize her skin wasn't colours and only had slight blue shading. That worked crazy well. Awesome!!!
Yeah the shading/etc adds a bit more to the feeling. Solid black (which one of my other tats is fully filled in) is weird.
I get that feeling too! I already have plans for my next few, so it's mostly about spreading out the cost over time, but it's a little bit addicting haha.
Also, I realise the image reddit snagged was thumbnailed for some reason, so I reuploaded -> https://i.imgur.com/fnCIV6B.jpg
Looks super blurry in the pic but as long as you're happy then that's dope brother x was it a friend who tattooed you?
Just noticed for some reason it thumbnailed the pic rather than the full res version. Blargh. Here's a better version: https://i.imgur.com/fnCIV6B.jpg
Technically a friend, but he's still a professional tattooist haha. Always good to have mates with skills.
That’s the painful way
oof sorry
