[EVENT] Arctic Custodianship votes on banning Nestlé Products until company morally improves
REYKJAVIK - COPENHAGEN - NUUK - TÓRSHAVN
Arctic Custodianship Meeting - 2029 May/June
Regarding Nestlé Exploitation of Humans and Nature
It has been determined by the Arctic Senate that the previously swiss company Nestlé is operating in bad faith towards humanity and the planet due to its continued to exploitation of both nature and man to increase their bottom line.
The company has been known to be 'the most hated' one globally due to how it markets its products, and how it produces its products. Even with continued lawsuits it has not altered its behaviour to be more responsible towards both environment and human life.
As such it is this councils moral obligation to halt this behaviour and at minimum not support it. If this council does not, it is betraying its own morals and reasons to exist. Consumers have proven that they do not mind paying a bit more for ecological responsible products. So it is the opinion of this council that Nestlé is doing this purely for its own benefit in trying to reach maximum payouts for those highest in the ladder.
Should this vote go through, all participating nations will enact a mandate that bans all Nestlé products and their daughter brands until the company has proven that it is not morally bankrupt and in fact does care about more than money.
An ethics commission will investigate if the company actually has changed its ways sufficiently before the mandates will be rescinded.
