Hey everyone, I'm planning on coming back to League in a few days (after a brief hiatus) and would like y'all to give your opinion and tips about the champs I want to play.
I stopped playing since I wasn't finding the game fun, what with the items, the healing, the damage and such, but Ravenous Hunter's upcoming nerf is something I was really looking forward to and that change made me consider coming back. Now, I'm no stranger to support at all, but I still would like some advice regardless. My champ pool (or the champs I'm considering for it) would be as follows:
-Nautilus: Probably would be my default pick, I have m7 on him and he's pretty easy. Due to the way his kit works I feel like he fits on many teams.
-Braum: My highest mastery support and 4th highest overall, though it has been like 2 years since I've played him, so I'd like some tips anyway. Started finding him boring but my interest in him has been reignited, and he's overall a champ I'm really fond of.
-Leona: Another champ I really like. Not much to say about her, she's a tanky, CC-oriented support and those are basically the type of supports I like. Solar Eclipse>>>>Lunar Eclipse.
-Rell: While I found her kind of meh in SR at first, I learned what combos you could do with her and I like her a lot now. Because of her Q, I feel like she might even be decent into Morgana (who, seeing what champs I want to play, would be my permaban)
-Rakan: The closest thing to an enchanter I'll play. I have m6 on him and find his supportive/engage capabilities coupled with his playstyle of darting around fights super fun.
-Thresh: Another champ I'm really fond of, I have m6 on him but I'm pretty bad at landing his hooks. Regardless, he's super satisfying to do well on and definitely the hardest support in my champion pool.
-Pyke: A champ I like quite a bit but struggle to do well with. I also don't know what comps he's good with/against (unless it's against Senna, since in my experience Pyke destroys Senna)
-Alistar: The only champ on this list I don't really play. He never really got my attention since I found his cooldowns were too long for my enjoyment but after seeing what he can do with his abilities by looking at clips and such, and also thinking about how other supports I like also have similarly long cooldowns, I've decided I want to try him out. Also, I really like Moo Cow, Hextech and Blackfrost tbh.
It's not like I'll jump straight into ranked btw, first of all because I'm most definitely a more casual player (though I do like getting better at the game and play ranked every so often), and second because even when I come back I still won't just play League.
Sooo yeah, what do you think? Any tips? Other champs you'd recommend?

Basically every one of those champs but Braum (unfortunately) is in a decent enough status at the moment. You could create a cohesive and varied tank / engage support pool by just going with Naut / Thresh / Alistar / Rell / Leona, though I do also find Rakan a lot of fun to play.
Basically, you can’t reallyyyy go wrong with any of those - play who you find appealing
Oh, Braum is in a bad spot? Why's that? Well, I do remember his ult being nerfed quite significantly a couple of years ago. Is it that?
I don’t find Braum that bad in this meta tbh. You just need to have a decent team you can rely on back up your damage soaking.
