I bought a very plain Spyderco Military off Kijiji a few months ago, but the blade was a tad scratched up.

So I did what any reasonable person would do and spent the same amount of money I bought the knife for modifying it.

No ragrets.

EDIT: a before-pic for reference. Shoutout to my friend who acid-etched and stonewashed the blade for me.

Also, there's a bit of tape residue left on the blade after I sharpened it. Welp.

Are those the original scales?

Nope. It came with the standard black G10 scales. These are Aramis's carbon fiber scales. They didn't exactly have the best fitment to be honest, but filing away a bit of the carbon fiber around the screw holes fixed it.
