Peuc attached to old claim update

Peuc jumped on a 4 year old claim. ESD told me I'd have to call them every week to manually move it over to the most current claim. This went on for 4 weeks when they told me they couldn't do that. The last agent explained that it was a glitch and there wasn't anything they could do (even tho they were doing something). She also told me to write my rep. So I did that and got a letter from ESD saying a staff member was assigned to me. I didn't hear anything else from them for some weeks so I just kept on filing on the expired claim but just now they made me I "may" owe them for last few weeks that I claimed. They also made me fill out the all separations form and I noticed that the restart my claim button has appeared on my most current claim. Has anyone experienced this? What actually happens when I click restart my claim to begin filing again button? Why would they tell me I owe them for the 3 weeks on the old claim but not the weeks that they moved manually? Any info and advice it welcome
