Still a bit pricy but nice to see the $99USD CE isn't the only physical this release is getting.

This is admittedly a step in the right direction, but I think we've been conditioned to it because it's a niche company. Nintendo gets bashed for Skyward Sword HD and the Mario 3D All Stars release. This really isn't much better. Just a lot of extra stuff (that many of us don't want) for $60. Which, for those who want it, great. Not trying to shame them. But a standard release should always be an available, and forcing CE down everyone's throats is my least favorite new trend in the indie/limited/niche publishers.

What is in the NIS CE that isn't in this? I preordered that overpriced CE for 100 dollars because I had no clue if there would be any other physical versions..

Nevermind. The CE has the FULL soundtracks, a couple of acrylic stands, a coin, and HARDCOVER art book.

Why can't they just have a $40 standard version? They did this same crap with Prinny 1+2..

Likely because CE's are the best way to make sure they get margins they want on what is basically guaranteed to be a rather niche release.
