It's technically my third non- kit project, but the first was all black and the second was beginner level.

And it's technically my second pattern self-drafted from a photo, but the first was like ten years ago.

It's also my first time on anything smaller than 14ct aida. This is 28ct evenweave and I'm doing 1x1. It's so tiny! (Tbh I kind of love it.)

Wow that is tiny. I’ve done 28ct which I love but I did it over 2 stitches. I would need the magnifying glass to do that lol

It's so tiny. I have a magnifying glass at home but I'm trying without it for now, because this is my 'on the go' project. But there is definitely a considerable chance I'll get fed up and either make this my 'at home' project or get a portable magnifier.

But I have to admit, as I get started on it, I love the look of the tiny tiny stitches!

I bought the same thread keeper and it’s been a game changer for me!

I got it as a Christmas present - this is the first project I'm using it for! (Another first!)

I've always punched holes or slits in cardboard and used that. I love how much more elegant and well-designed this keeper feels!

Yeah I used to do the same. But then I got this massive project and all the thread and stuff in my Secret Santa for Christmas and I was like “there is no way I can stay organized with just paper” I think it’s great for big projects!

Pattern keeper is literally a game changer. I never knew how much I needed it until I started using it. The few patterns that haven't been compatible for it have been so much less enjoyable now

I've almost always worked from kits, and when I haven't, I've printed out the pattern. But so far I'm loving it. I think my favorite thing is being able to highlight all the stitches with a given symbol, but even just simple things like being able to mark off a stitch, then un-mark it if I mis-clicked or have to frog a section. So much better than using highlighter on paper, where once I mark a stitch done, there's no taking it back!

Based on colors, I'm guessing Grogu?
