Rep. David Scott just spent 5 minutes basically to say who is responsible for people posting financial advice and telling people to buy stock...

Hint: he blamed social media (at least that what I understood)

The whole internet is open access information. Reddit is just part of that open access information. It’s on the individual to verify information, sources, etc just like with all other news and information...

I just find it funny, no one is telling people to buy, there is just due diligence and technical analysis that is understandable for once to the lay person, or retail investor.
