My Process if anyone is curious!

Could you make a one hour version please?

Wow that was fantastic and you have a great voice for narrating over your process! I honestly can't believe (and this is from someone who does all their backgrounds in sketchup) you used Minecraft. I mean.... that's 90% skill to take it from the blocky forms to the natural flora seen in the final piece. Subscribed and looking forward to more!

I was about to say "how the fuck do you only have 83 subscribers counting me?!"

Then I checked out your channel and saw it was your only video. I need more please.

Sorry if it’s a silly question but what software did you use for the painting? And I take it you use a stylus or something too?

Your have such a soothing voice! You should definitely make a tutorial for noob animators. I’m not at all an artist, never had an interest, but I enjoy watching and learning about your animation process.

Minecraft water noise

I was wondering how I instantly associated this animation with Minecraft even though there is no clear visual information that this was based on a Minecraft shot... but yes, the water noise is very distinctive, took me a few minutes to realize.

Wait, this is Klegs! Founder of the sub here. Your pieces were among the first I posted when I first started it. Keep killing the game big guy!

Love the art of it. Feels like old games and stories I read when I was a kid. Sends me far back in time. Thank you for that.

Wallpaper engine is calling your name OP.

Puffdaddy-O•

Needs a different splash sound. This ones sound quality is significantly lower than the ambiance of the birds so it doesn’t sound right, also it sounds like the splash from Minecraft and is too recognizable.

10
kkris23•

Sounds like an AOE sound affect and I fucking love it

15
QuackBakery•

It is from Minecraft. Look at the video explaining the process. Also, I enjoyed it!

Damn that is gorgeous. I could watch that on loop for hours.

Reminds me of those older point and click games.

They should go back to beautiful drawn 2d graphics.

Another Monkey Island game in Curse style please.

Do you have just a loop of the video without the dude? I would love to have this play on my tv while I do school work.

7

Wow, this is so amazing. I'd love to sit and watch this for hours. Anyone have any recommendations for shows/videos/etc. that have this type of animation or feel to it? I just want to escape it all for a little while haha

2
Burnsyde•

Well I was reminded of the studio ghibli movies when I watched this animation so I’d definitely check those out. Things like my neighbour totoro or spirited away I know for sure feature tons of great natural and relaxing woods and countryside, like such wonderful places to live and explore in. There are tons of movies by studio ghibli too but I’ve not seen them all yet.

You can also try searching for ambience videos on YouTube, things like ā€œmagical lake ambienceā€ or whatever, there’s thousands of videos with hours of videos like these. Even for every franchise like Lotr, Harry Potter, anything. Just search for the franchise on YouTube + the keyword ambience or asmr and you’ll find them. https://youtu.be/jGJ_5LlP0XY
