My sister, who is a cis woman, has been harassed infinitely more times than me.
I've had one woman incorrectly assume I was a trans man and accidentally validated me by saying "you'll never pass as a man with those childbearing hips!" Which, ya know, fingers crossed.
But my sister has been harassed over and over by TERFs or just angry idiots, especially in bathrooms, because she's a butch lesbian with PCOS.
She's taller than me, she has broader shoulders than mine, although her tits are HUGE so I would have thought that'd dissuade some of them... (I'm not jealous! ...okay maybe a little) but anyway her PCOS makes her have somewhat darker body hair than most white cis women, and with that and our viking ancestry making her look like an OG shield-maiden I think it makes a lot of dumbasses think she's trans.
She's often said she almost wishes she WAS trans, she never wants kids and PCOS is a bitch.

We honestly haven't talked that in depth about it before. I know she sees a gyno pretty regularly, I assume they've talked about it.
The only reason I'd assume she'd want to delay is the hormone imbalance thing, but as she well knows from me, it's much easier for cis women to get supplmental hormones than us :P

I'm a cis woman who has fairly feminine facial features, large boobs, but pretty broad shoulders (plus, pre covid, fairly decent muscles).
I like my frame and I've recently realised how annoyed I am at womens'/girls' magazines that are like "got broad shoulders? Here's how to dress to deaccentuate them, as well as things you should never wear, lest people realise you have broad shoulders! Shhh, it's a secret, no-one must know your true form"
Anyway, I've been harassed a few times by TERFs who accuse me of having man shoulders. I'm not even particularly butch presenting, even my short hair is styled quite femme. It's depressingly ironic, how TERFs will prattle on about how womanhood is more than just estrogen and that being a woman goes deeper than the exterior, but then pick apart the appearance of women with such scrutiny that they attack more cis women than trans women.
I don't agree with a lot of what radical feminism believes in, but I don't think radical feminism is inherently transphobic; I have at least two friends who are quite radfem in their ideas but are trans inclusive (that is to say, they're not shit people). I know it's close to "No True Scotsman", but how can TERFs even claim to be feminists? They've lost sight of the true enemy, which is the patriarchy, which continues to fuck over women all over the world. We need solidarity but TERFs would rather live in denial and pretend that their transphobic crusade is them fighting back against systematic misogynistic oppression when it's just them victimising a marginalised group so they can feel powerful.
A lot of TERFs are women who have faced sexual abuse by men and their trauma makes them easy targets for the TERF cult. It's ridiculous and sad.

True. I've heard of guys who ID as femboys being attacked on the street. It's dangerous for an AMAB person to go out in a skirt in most places. I live in South Carolina, a conservative majority state, and I, as an AMAB enby, am scared of being hate crimes whenever I do get a skirt and go out in it.
The solution to that problem is traveling in groups and everybody carries some sort of self defense tool.

This is my problem (well, one of my many problem) with the whole super-straight movement. I'm willing to bet virtually all "super-straight" people would be attracted to at least some trans people. I'm willing to be a lot of them currently are attracted to a trans person.
What they're not attracted to is non-passing trans people. Which is very clearly a personal preference, not a sexuality.

This is important but it’s also important that you DO NOT NEED TO PASS TO BE VALID!! Transphobes don’t need to be fooled by you for you to be valid as the gender you identify as. You can pass very well, or be mistaken as the wrong gender all the time, and you’re still valid in your identity. I never pass. And my best friend is a cis woman so "hello ladies" happens every time we go out. They also think she's my gf but I'm actually married to a dude.
I assumed this would become less frequent after I started HRT, but no, they double down on the "ladies" because now they think I'm a weird looking woman and feel sorry for me.

I hope that isn’t insensitive to suggest bc I haven’t experienced that myself, but maybe it could stop some people making assumptions?

Show them a picture, and say "this is a trans women, they transitioned from male to female" (because let's face it, most of them don't even know which is which). "Do you think they look like a man?"

I've noticed that alot of transphobic straight men base their transphobia entirely on whether they find the other person sexually attractive or not. Hence why it's so common for these idiots to think a cis woman is trans based on arbitrary traits that mean absolutely nothing outside of their own selfish sexual desires in a woman. It's also hilarious witnessing the stupidity as they are a complete transphobe willing to alienate anyone they deem unattractive or attractive based on their own preferences, they see a beautiful trans woman and assume she is cis and only flip out as soon as they find out she is trans, but then see an unattractive cis woman and call her trans because "they can always tell" it sounds like such an exhausting way to live, and a sure fire way to lose out on their ever shrinking dating pool.
