Where do I start?

Growing up trans, my best source of information was always other guys on the internet who could share their experiences. I started hormones and got top surgery my freshman year of high school, and have since been eternally grateful that I got to spend my teen years mostly feeling like I should. Now, as I’m settling into adulthood, I’m becoming increasingly aware that I am still not fully myself, and I think I’m ready to start looking into phallo.

The problem is, this isn’t as easy for me to research as top surgery. That was simple, just cut the breast tissue out, but I’m looking through this sub, I’ve realized I basically know nothing about this process.

So here’s what I’d like to know:

-How long after having a hysterectomy can I begin phallo stages? Can the hysto be done at the same time as another procedure?

-I want to maximize the amount of erotic sensation, and would like to be able to use my penis for penetration, and pee out of it. What type of phallo should I go with?

-I am lucky enough to live in close proximity to a good surgeon who is covered by my insurance, should I book a consult with him just to discuss my options, even if I’m not ready to schedule the surgery?

-How long can I expect recovery to be before going back to normal life? Should I wait until after I graduate college to set aside some time?

I’m sorry for the long post, but I really know nothing about all this. I think I was scared to admit to myself that I was ready to begin this journey. I would greatly appreciate any and all advice.
