hmm that sounds really strange. Never heard of something like this. Have you tried restarting the game? Usually no one has any moderation power over worlds. Only thing they can do is start votekick.
Yeah I expected it was a crasher at first, but whenever I load that specific world it has me spawn in a cube that says I have been banned.
Like the world map owner has created a specific spawn point for specific user ID'S.
well damn that is way too much work. Do you have a second account you could try to verify this with? Since now that you say it sounds like something someone could do. but also sounds like too much work. Guess some people just have nothing else to do
There are so many different worlds tho. As long as this is not a world your friend group hangs out constantly this should have no impact on you. Just go to one of the others of thousands of worlds to meet people. Dont wanna bring traffic to worlds from people like this anyway ^^
The crazy thing is it was the virtualfurence
How would you get banned from virtualfurence for having a furry avatar?
Thats how i know vrchat. I randomly got kicked out an avatar world while i was looking at avatars. Didn't do anything just looking around.
From the other comments here, this is sounding familiar. There was someone in a Lewd avatar at virtualfurence . They got warned repeatedly, and were flippant instead of understanding and swapping.
Yeah well when a random person comes up to you and says change your avatar in a public to stop being a furry I bet you would instantly go "no?" And or block them.
I don't understand how anyone could even try to rationalize it any other way.
I should have saved the vid as I was streaming.
I’m gonna be honest, I think there is more too this, I don’t think someone would just ban your from a world because your a furry, what world was it and what is your twitch?
I mean it really was just that, I'm not really trying to defend myself I'm just wondering why it's even possible to do that.
If I blocked someone and they banned me from using the world for it and whenever I join the world it tells me to appeal to a certain link wouldn't this be breaking TOS?
"Going through other individuals and channels such as social media to continue to harass an individual after being blocked."
What am I supposed to do appeal to the guy I blocked saying I'm sorry that my avatar upsets you and isn't breaking any tos?
That cool and all but you forgot to add the name of the world and your twitch.
It is there world and you are no longer living in it.
The creator of the world has the power to ban anyone from their world for 2 hours maximum. You should be able to rejoin the same world by the time I'm writing this.
Seems like the creator made a "jail" in his world. So they basically have a separate spawn point with no way to get to the other users.
I'm actually interested in how the world creator did the whole "separate spawn point" thing. Can you really do shit by user(-id)? Is this a thing that udon affords you?
Seems like an udon thing tbh.
Gonna need the other side of this story, assuming it's true at all. Too many things not adding up.
