Invest in climate change mitigating companies

I always get met with blank stares when I tell people this but maybe the audience here will be more understanding. I think very good long-term investments to make right now are in sectors that will mitigate climate change. For example, alternative agriculture, vertical farming, desalination, carbon capture, etc. This is based on the premise that we will not solve climate change but will have to learn to deal with it.
