Getting braces in the US but surgery abroad?
Hi everyone,
I recently got approved by a surgeon in my home country in Europe for a bimax advancement at about 1/5th the price. Of course, since I live across the pond in the US getting braces and their adjustments done over there is expensive and unreasonable. He mentioned that if managed to find a orthodontist here that is willing to communicate with him and do my adjustments before and after surgery that it is doable
My question is: is that very uncommon? Would a typical orthodontist go along with something like this or do you think it'd be rare? Has anyone else done this?
