Oddly enough, I'm not feeling very sorry for her.
I feel sorry for her customers.
Me too!
Do you think any of these people that are talking about masks damaging your lungs constantly smoke?
I had some people who worked at a gas station who just could not understand why I was so upset that they wouldn't wear a mask. Its because people are fucking dying. She tried to bring up the fact that she has asthma and can't wear a mask. Guess what, I have asthma too, and I can wear one just fine. She, of course, didn't believe me, even after I showed her my inhaler in my bag. Some people are just stupid.
I have asthma which admittedly got worse since this whole thing started, but that's due to stress not the masks. Honestly if my asthma was so bad I couldnt breathe with the mask on I would be going to the ER for a treatment not whining to a store employee about it. (Of course if I was that bad I would have trouble breathing without the mask. )
I have really bad allergies to my cat and I just sneeze and sneeze and get a stuffy nose. I can wear a mask just fine.

kids with Cystic Fibrosis with actual damaged lungs can wear masks just fine
I had panic attacks the first few times I wore a mask. Yet somehow I managed to learn to wear one without freaking out
Honestly these antimaskers just want to play poor pitiful me.
My father, a smoker for 30 years, manages masks just fine. My sister, who spent a couple months in the hospital when a lung kept collapsing, and where the solution was ‘fuse it to the ribs for support’, manages masks just fine.
Anybody bitching that they can’t breathe with a mask in is a hypochondriac.
I felt like I couldn't breathe the first few times I wore one, but I was smart enough to know it was a fear response leftover from a childhood emotional trauma. (I have nearly always had an aversion to having my mouth covered) I probably should have tried getting past it before, but until Covid happened it never seemed like a big deal.
So I guess wearing my mask forced me to deal with it. And it only took me a couple of months to feel just fine wearing a mask.
Hey, you guys remember ski masks? And how people wear them while they’re skiing?
You can wear one while you walk around target.
I had a few in the beginning if I was walking too much. Oxygen is not the problem. It makes my face hot which makes me dizzy that leads to a panic attack. I still wear the damn thing. I finally broke down after a few years of friends nagging me. On the once-a-month grocery shopping trip, my son takes me there and I use the scooter cart. No more overheating = no panic attack! And I also got the J&J vaccine on Wednesday. So watch out! There are certain types of Christians who say that will turn me into a hybrid. Who knows what I might do?
I got my first Moderna shot (not sure of spelling) and my second shot is in less than a week. Do you think the chip will let me access 5G with my mind? Some of the things these pro-diseasers believe.
Not sure. I upgraded to the Nanobot special so they could file down the born spurs in my knees.
I thought the vaccines turned you into a zombie. I had my first shot (Pfizer) a week ago. I'm still human.
Hmm, I've heard that too. I've also heard that the vaccine turns us into communists but I'm still a serf to my benevolent dictator, Miss Bandit Boo, the Cat of All Cats.
They're rebels desperate for a cause.
Yeah, the first few times I got very disoriented since I have sensory sensitivities but I learned to get comfortable enough with them. In some ways it does help with my social anxiety at school and places like it since I already feel like I’m barely there.
