What's your story when and why you began collecting Game & Watch games?

For me back in 2004 when i was 8 years old I unlocked Mr. Game & Watch in Super Smash Bros. Melee and was fascinated how this guy even existed. I discovered the Game & Watch games and started playing the Game & Watch Gallery games for Gameboy for years as my interest continued to rise on these games. Started researching the game series, looking at tons of ebay listings and pictures, before finally convincing my parents in 2008 for my 12th birthday to buy me Donkey Kong Jr. (New Widescreen) and from that point on i continued to collect more and more to this day.
