Any good inexpensive date ideas?

I’m constantly out of cash due to not having a job bc of school but I wanna take my gf out somewhere. We’re in San Jose CA and we usually just go out to thrift and sometimes down to Santa Cruz but it’s been a while since we’ve done anything memorable. I feel like she thinks I’m getting too comfortable but I’m honestly just out of ideas and have been frantically trying to get some ideas going but none of them really go good. Does anyone have good suggestions? I was thinking maybe a scavenger hunt leading her around the town a bit or maybe something like painting outside. Any ideas are greatly appreciated thanks!!
