Using locker to dodge leatherface's chainsaw?

Question

I used to do this quite a bit, wait till they go into the chainsaw charge thing and then hop into a locker until its done, usually costs me a hit as they m1 me once im out but it avoids the one hit. today i did this, after the charge started i got in a locker and maybe two seconds later he crashed into the locker, but this time i just kinda popped out of the locker and right onto the ground. is this the intended way that this should work? was i just getting lucky before?

nope, you can avoid the chainsaw via locker... maybe it was desynched, maybe its bugged right now (like almost everything else)

huh, yeah im not sure quite what that was because i literally got in the locker a good 2-3 seconds before he was close, like it wasnt a last minute dodge so im kinda thinking it was a glitch of sorts. interesting. the killer seemed confused too

Did you jump out during a tantrum? His tantrum damages people near him.

If not, sounds like a regular ol’ bug.

No, like he didn't even go into the tantrum he just crashed into the locker during the chainsaw charge and I popped right out and onto the ground from a fully recovered state. I don't even think he got to the tantrum. His chainsaw charge ended immediately after I "fell" out of the locker. Was very odd

There's no delay between Bubba bumping an object and the tantrum starting, the hitbox is there the whole time. You went down because you opened the locker directly into his tantrum.

No, I feel like everyone is missing what I'm saying, I never got out of the locker. As soon as he bumped into the locker I (against my will) popped out and directly on the ground from a full health state. The tantrum never happened. He charged into the door, I popped out already dying (even though I was healthy and I did not open the door myself) and the tantrum never happened. He was confused too he just kinda stood there for a few seconds

Were you playing as Steve? I played as Bubba for the first time today for a daily and this same exact thing happened, I just looked around confused wondering how that happened lol
