Confused about Danzo taking Shisuis eye.

At about the 5 minute mark Danzo tries to take shisui's eye, but he uses (what I think) is kotoamatsukami on Danzo. At that point shisui starts to walk away.. But somehow Danzo negates the kotoamatsukami and takes his eye anyway.

What exactly happen here??
