Feel bad for causing my husband’s infection

Tested Positive - Me

I was fully vaccinated in January ( Pfizer )and became last week. Symptoms are fever, ache, fatigue, congestion, no taste or smell. Today my husband who is not vaccinated tested positive and is sick as well. I feel AWFUL for causing him this illness. I was careful, but as a health care provider ( retired early) I feel I failed in some way.

I’m worried to see even fully vaccinated ppl like you still have this full-blown covid symptoms that I experienced a month ago and I’m not vaccinated and contracted the virus and had all the symptoms you listed there. I was reading Pfizer can decrease transmission but in this case it doesn’t seem to reduce it

Are you absolutely 100% sure he didn’t get it somewhere else?

Yes, he developed symptoms exactly 4 to 5 days after me and was home the entire time.

I’m sorry this happened. I hope both of you are on the mend soon.

Are you and your husband in any high risk groups?
