Turkish doctors

Surgeon Review/Recommendations

Hey! I was considering going to Turkey for a rhinoplasty and/or liposuction. I was wondering if anyone has had an experience going to Turkey for this and which doctor they went to (and how soon after you could travel home). Thank you!

I had a rhinoplasty in September, I went with Medaway and had my surgery at Medicine hospital by Dr Emre Turkmen. I had a really good experience and now 6 months out I'm happy with my nose but looking forward to seeing if it gets any smaller (I LOVE it in mirrors but it's a bit big in photos but maybe my phone is just cruel). I arrived on the 24th, had my surgery on the 25th and flew home on the 1st of Oct.

Oh awesome!! Did you feel that was enough time to get back on a plane ?

Yeah I did, I had the cast taken off earlier that day and the packing removed (I didn't realise it was in there as I could breathe alright through my nose around day 4). Dr then taped my nose and sent me home, by that point the bruising around my eyes had pretty much gone, sort of looked like I'd had a rough night or something and I still had chubby cheeks for a week or so after that from the swelling. I didn't feel any pain throughout the whole process, only the needle mark in my arm and when the Dr removed the stitches. I wore a mask on the plane which was also fine and I didn't feel any kind of pressure or discomfort.

Oh that’s awesome!!! Really reassuring to hear since I was hoping to do it this summer. I was worried about the mask
