A new hope for High School Fleet ships on console?

I just read on the HSF sub that there's a new collaboration announced for PC, and sure enough, people have been talking about it on that sub for a few days. Here's the blog post from their devs.

There's some speculation that it may be an April Fools joke, but if this is something that's really coming to PC, is it also coming to console? I've been playing for more than a year now and have around 3,000 matches logged, and as I hope our devs have noticed, I take every possible opportunity to ask for HSF content on console.

So, if PC is really getting this and console isn't, I'd like to know, because I will seriously start over again and buy a PC just to play these ships if I have to. I love High School Fleet, I love World of Warships, and I don't want to miss the chance to play these ships if they're never going to come to console.

What’s High School Fleet? Anime? I’m old so have never heard of this 🙄

An anime set in a world where WW2 never happened, airplanes don't exist, and all those famous ships that we play are used for a sort of global Coast Guard/anti piracy force.

I don’t give a single ... care about anime, but I’m hoping we get the standard Harekaze with three hull variants as a T6 premium.

Oh no. Well hopefully they add an option to disable voice content but leave the visuals. Some of the AL camos are amongst the best looking (imo), but the voices are super annoying. Btw, wow at the level of fandom if you’d buy a PC just for that. For your sake, I hope it comes to console. 🤞

Generally it includes a skin for Graf Spee so that’s what I really want because it looks awesome

I bought Spee because of HSF, so getting the camo would be awesome.

Speaking of camo, I realized last night that the Musashi camo isn't correct for the show. It might be correct for the movie. I'd have to go back and rewatch it. That might also provide some insight on the guns Harekaze is wearing in the picture. I don't remember the mounts having an open back in the movie (since they're largely automated), but they might have.

I'd rather not switch platforms and start over, but that's how gaming works, isn't it? The last Sony console I bought was the PS2, the last Nintendo was the Wii. I would love for Uncharted and Zelda to come to Xbox, but that just isn't going to happen, and if I really wanted to play them, I'd have to buy their respective consoles.

World of Warships already exists on our platform though, so I think it's fair to ask if we're going to get content that exists on PC. You know, like carriers, or full-range German secondaries. And if not, then at least an acknowledgment that we're not.

Things will come but it takes time, and when I mean time i mean that WG wont release everything from the PC version all in one shot, they only do little at a time, this is to create a longer playtime and to make money from each release. And you know carriers will come as you have tested them. Things we will never see is 12 v 12 and a 20min game time. Realistic weather conditions that makes the ship go up or down or such. This is things that have been confirmed. In the end we must just be patient the things will come but it will be months or even years from now
