MAV on Xbox

Has anyone actually been able to get a kill with the MAV on a console yet? I've been watching loads of MAV kill videos where people seem to be easily flying around with an MAV and even if they come into close proximity of the enemy, they die.

Now i unlock the MAV to try this. I fly around, find the enemy and basically end up just humping the shit out of them with the MAV as they don't even die? I can land direct on top of them, pass through them but nothing actually makes the enemy die? What gives?

I don't know if it's the same on console (I presume it would be) but on PC the collision area for the MAV is to the right of the crosshairs. Don't try and fly right into them, try and fly by them like you were trying to high-five them. It's tricky as you also need to be low enough, but go too low and it scrapes the ground and you lose your speed.

I believe so, but i just seemed to pass straight through him.

I pulled it off several times.You need to hit them dead on at full speed. Any slower and it does nothing. I also have used it to nudge snipers of their perches which is always pretty funny.

I can't wait till I get the MAV - I'm not very good at recon so it'll be a while

I had switched to the UMP since I got to the SVD, doing some shotty work sounds like a good idea too.

Shotguns actually seem incredibly underpowered, even at close range. I used the UMP for engineer until i got all the unlocks and the A-91 which is pretty similar

Got 3 kills here on xbox. Its hard. I havent figured it out but it almost seems random. Ill keep trying.

PS3 - Done a couple of times. You have to go full speed. It's harder to connect than the videos make it look, just practice.
