I’ve seen it applied to people who think endless militarism in the Middle East is bad. I’ve seen the perforation applied a lot to people who think instigating a new Cold War with China and Russia is a bad idea as well

"Tankie" is the new "canceling" I guess, people keep throwing it around in wildly unrelated contexts and applying it to everything until it loses all meaning and just becomes a parody of itself.
