Dental Advice/Assistance -UK

Hey all!

I have marked this as Advice, as it mainly is for that reason.

For the past 2 days I have been going mad with tooth ache, to the point where I am running out of pain pills to subside it.

I work full time, so am not entitled to free dental care here in the UK, and do not have private health care (more fool me I know).

My request is: does anyone know of any 'emergency' dental hospitals. There used to be one in London, out of the London Hospital, but this is no longer going (as best I know), and to be honest, I am not that close to London anyway. A emergency private appointment, that I could get today, is £96.00, but a standard appointment (NHS) which I cannot get till Wednesday, is only £62.00. Which is not really spare cash I have either way. Google searches, don't really help much as they bring up Bupa care and the like.

Does anyone have any suggestions? That don't include a piece of string and a slamming door, because I have already earmarked that for 'Last Resort'.
