GERD for 3 months! Please Help!!!

I’m absolutely desperate for help. I’m a healthy 22 year old female.

This pain started totally randomly in December 2020 and it hasn’t gone away. I have never had reflux before, but it was like a strange burn to the left of my chest. I was on Pantaprozole for 2 weeks. I decided to go off it because it wasn’t really making much difference. I was off it for a month before I started getting worse pain, like a heaviness down the centre of my chest. I went on Nexium (40mg). I’ve been on that for 8 weeks but the symptoms still won’t budge. I went back to the doc, he thought maybe a back issue was being overlooked so referred me to a physio and told me to stop taking Nexium. So I did. And oh my god.

I am in agony. It feels like barbed wire being dragged around my stomach. I went back to emergency because I was sure nobody could be in this pain without a worse cause. But alas, I am in perfect physical health.

I’m desperate for answers and it’s literally 3 months before I can get a scope. I’ve tried all of the antacids - gaviscon, mylanta, quickeze - literally everything. My diet is very good - I’m vegan, I don’t drink coffee or alcohol, and I’ve made an effort to eat bland since this started.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.
