Redrawing season 2 is cool but calm down.

I’m seeing a lot of these posts lately about season 2 art and redraws. I do like them and consider them a nice improvement.

But this also seems to brew some weird perception or impression that the art is the problem with season 2. It was one of the problems, but if we all watched it, them butchering Murata’s art was probably the superficial problem.

The pacing, animation overall were not good at all. The amount of season 2 bashing is legit and I’m not against it. I get that redrawing is cool and nice to pay attention to, but please let’s not kid ourselves like redrawing some still images from season 2 anime fixes the problem. I appreciate it but it seems to me like people upvote way too much on such minor tweaks to still images.
