Scenarios for Specific Games

Im playing Kovaaks to have better aim in the game that I play. That game currently is Destiny 2. As some of you know D2 is vastly different then almost all other shooters. Theres bullet magnetism so if you are close it will give you a hit even if your reticle is not on the target.

The game has a relatively slow time to kill at .8-1.0 second time to kill with pretty fast movement. Im doing an updated version of aimer 7s guide and theres scenarios in there that im skeptical of. Like 1w6targets small. Rarely in D2 is that level of precision required. Its all about keeping up with a strafing target and not missing a single shot, because the elite players rarely miss getting the optimal time to kill with their weapon.

Should I be doing fast strafe type stuff? They move similarly to a d2 player (faster but movement is close). I cant track them 100% so ive done some runs at 0.7 time scale.

Another very important aspect that is unique is in high level play it is common to slide out of cover perpendicular to the enemy and flick 90 or more degrees and begin firing on the enemy. Any scenarios that would work on this situation?

Last point. Its highly unlikely ill play any other games for the next two or so years, so anything I work on id like it to translate into D2 as much as possible.

For bigger flicks, wide wall 3 targets and 1w2ts work great. Also you should train fast strafes; but start off with long strafes

Your thought process is flawed. The point of training is to increase your skill level and push your limits. Training should provide challenge so that performing is less difficult. Also, headshots. We aim for the head in this subreddit, you need that precision.

I get that. Im just saying if my enemy and I both flick at the sane time and I have 100% accuracy and he has 80% but he is faster i lose this engagement 80% of the time. Thats what im getting at. Being accurate isnt hard in D2. Being accurate at mach 10 is where the skill gap lies

If you hit 100% of the shots you make, then you aim for the head. Destiny’s headshot multiplier ranges from 1.5 to 3.0 aside from shotgun and sidearms, so it’s give you a distinct advantage. Also, in FPS games you are already capable of generating super fast speeds, the problem is that you can’t control those speeds. Increase your control, and you will get faster against larger targets as well. Wide wall, small targets, moving targets, they all matter for different scenarios you’ll see in game.

This document has good routines for many games, including Destiny 2.
