On Demand Desktop Recommendation

Recommendation Request

Was a huge lurker in the past but haven’t been around in 4-5 years, I’ve been using my e-nano log as my desktop daily driver and my mighty as a portable/session vape.

My nano just bit the dust (wiring issue, I could probably solder it but I don’t want to get into that) so I’m looking for a new on demand efficient desktop device. My favorite part about the nano is how I could leave it on for extended periods, and it’s super efficient for small quick hits. I’d always run it through water/bong attachment

Anything out there that’s new and an upgrade from the log type vapes? Or should I get a new nano? I’ve been seeing flowerpot posts a bunch, but not sure how much I like the idea of an open heat source.

Here's my favorite heavy hitter desktops:

  • Cannabis Hardware (formerly New Vape) Flowerpot (Vrod or Weedeater)

  • Herborizer (multiple choices)

  • Underdog Vapes (SC3+ heater or Alphadog for a bigger chamber/bowl)

  • Volcano Hybrid (of course)

  • Tafee Bowle

  • 7th Floor/Elev8 Silver Surfer/Super Silver Surfer vape (modded to be SSV43 with loading space around heater with Terp balls - rubies recommended)

  • 7th Floor/Elev8 DC Elev8r

  • Art Of Vapor Vapbong

  • or if you're okay with a portable to keep at home: Lamart Tetra P80 (on-demand convection portable artisan vape)

No problem bud. Always happy to help. Now, the ones I provided here, above, are only the ones that are still available to get. There are others that are discontinued, or just super rare or hard to get, etc etc. Just wanted to make that clear. Anyways, good luck, have fun and happy hunting!

They're all pretty much on the same level of awesome amazingness. The better or easier question would be which ones in there would I say aren't at that same level, and are slightly and subtly below it in usage and that doesn't pass the reach-test as much as the others... In that case, I'd say; the Vapbong would be the only one that's a little lower... Maybe the Underdog if you get something below an SC3+ heater...? Bottomline - all of these vapes are some of the most powerfully potent and tastiest and most enjoyable heavy hitter vapes on the market right now, and would honestly recommend all of them in the end cuz they all slap, except, like I said, there's a small amount of problematic things about the Vapbong, but it's a great artisan vape and a unique staple, and is why I included it. If you want me to just narrow it down to favorites... I'd say in no specific order;

  1. Cannabis Hardware Flowerpot Weedeater
  2. Tafee Bowle
  3. Elev8's SSV (modded to a SSV43 - with ruby balls)
  4. Elev8r and Blazer torch (I prefer this instead of DC Elev8r)
  5. Lamart Tetra P80

The vapexhale cloud evo is pretty awesome. Ditanium as well.

I’ve had one for a year now and I like it a lot. I no longer use torch and banger set ups when it’s available. It’s a a no brainer if you’re interested in using the enail component, and a good on demand convection suggestion if none of theses 3 things apply to you:

  1. some people don’t like dealing with whips

  2. not sure it’s worth it if you have no interest in using with a water piece

  3. not sure it’s worth it if you have no interest in concentrates

If you're looking at ditanium, be aware the default glass bowl isn't best at microdosing. I've heard the titanium bowl is very good at that though. I can second the ditanium rec, it's a very good vape. I haven't been using mine as much recently, because I got a dc elev8r (which also has an exposed heat source).

Good call out thank you - looks interesting.

Have heard about that dc elev8r too - might switch up my mind to open hear sources. Thoughts on that vs a flowerpot?

Never tried the flowerpot but I'm very happy with DC-E, enough that I'm not considering a FP or really any other heavy hitter. I like that it used a standard 19mm male connection on the heater so you have some flexibility when it comes to bowl choice. I have a large wide bowl and another smaller one for microdosing. Pushed the screen into the stem in the smaller one and now can use enano sized amounts. Most of the time I use the large bowl tho 😁

I got a Flowerpot Weedeater 3 weeks ago and I have been loving it more every day. I was also concerned about an open heat source but I got the handle/stand and haven’t had any issues. Fully recommend checking out vgoodiez. Solid dude.
