How it started vs. how it’s going with my boy Ralphie. What a difference one year makes!

My friend found him hanging around her yard and discovered that his tail had been de-gloved at some point and had healed into a leathery twig. He also had a limp, but still ran and jumped. She started feeding him and took him to the vet where they amputated his Skeletor tail, and once he got his stitches out I adopted him. I took him to my local vet for a checkup before having him neutered and they found that his knee had broken and healed poorly at some point, probably when his tail was de-gloved. They performed a pin and wire surgery on his leg and the top pic was when he was recovering, as well as still missing hair from his tail amputation. He was about 8 months old then. Today he is an absolute cuddle bug who purrs like a tank and is loved by all who meet him.
