Different factories have different capabilities. Just because accessory "xyz" isn't in stock doesn't mean that new accessory "abc" delayed it's production.
The whole bike industry is feeling it right now - I've seen bikes with preorders into 2022. Why should Rad be any different?
I can certainly understand the frustration with not being able to get what you desire when you desire it. I’ve had my Rad for a year now and have all the Rad accessories for it that I want since the first of the year. As a new product this actually intrigues me (seriously considering purchasing) and RPB as a company are growing like a weed during one of the most challenging years in the last 80ish. I applaud them for not hiding their out of stocks (a ‘la Amazon not returning a listing or grocery filling gaps by doubling facings) and for being transparent with the challenges they are facing.

CLASSIC CONSUMERISM SENTIMENT
I applaud them for not hiding their out of stocks
Your applause is still for PRODUCTS NOT IN STOCK🤨
and for being transparent with the challenges they are facing.
🤣um NO. $150M in funding, how much has changed🤔

🤔what sort of growth are you talking about...? AND FRFR A LOT of other companies have grown during Covid.
I don't see an issue with them coming out with new stuff,. I just have an issue with that fact that his is a stupid ass accessory.

Thx Hyphen bot(notice the missing hyphen)
$150M in funding...and they come out with THIS?? Out of ALL the accessories they could have produced with $150M💩capitalistic corruption💩
That's an overreaction for sure. Every company makes stupid accessories for some. Corruption my ass
Corruption my ass
🌟💰Overpriced redundancies💰🌟
You’re extremely overreacting and don’t know anything about supply chain.
Not even Apple or Toyota can get their suppliers back at 100%, why do you think some bike company makes a difference?
Are you comparing Multi-billion$$industries to a bike company?? Do you even sound like you know what your talking about?
I think Rad understand their customers more than you think they do. There's a ton of people on Rad Facebook groups who will go apeshit for this stuff. The profit margins on these must be really good. It'll help to pay for free replacement parts. As for the rest, supply chain issues are out of Rad's hands and customer service seems to be above average for a cheap e-bike brand.

💯💰🤑Ya think?

FB breeds that exact consumeristic mentality. So, like, yea, OFC
supply chain issues are out of Rad's hands
My dude, I'm not sure you understand how supply chains work
customer service seems to be above average for a cheap e-bike brand.
Ok 1st of all, I'm liking Rad less and less, but still its insulting to call em cheap AND 2nd, i would have to disagree entirely. Have you stayed updated on the posts(quite to the contrary)in this reddit??
Look at the rest of the market. Rad's big selling point is price. Their bikes are cheaper than most other brands. Rad started out like most other cheap ebike brands. They put their name on stock Chinese ebikes and set upa sales system and customer service in North-America. They've gotten big enough to get exclusivity on the bikes they sell and to get some customization, but it's still the same business model you see from other brands like Himiway, Biktrix, Rize, etc. all of which are on the lower end of the budget scale i.e. cheap. Rad are not Tern, Reise & Muller, Benno, etc. and that's a good thing because not everyone can afford a $5000 ebike.

FINALLY🙏THANK YOU👈🌟 I appreciate someone who actually knows what their talking about💯🏆👏👏🙌 I think I like you😏👊
I understand your frustration and I also agree that this is a stupid ass, over priced accessory.
👆🙌💯👊
Idk about this. $150M in funding, CRAP customer service, HARDCORE failing to follow thru with delivery policies, UNABLE to adequately restock top selling models and accessories, DISGRUNTLED AND DISSATISFIED POTENTIAL !!AND!! CURRENT CUSTOMERS... but they come out with a wallet raping esthetic that appeals to a TINY demographic of consumers.
I'm sorry, but this just sickens me. This is literally the epitome of a company corrupting into capitalistic consumerism. Failing to abide by thier own advertised and fundamental business policies, accosting new and existing Rad owners with inflated prices, while failing to maintain or restock adequately.
Nothing more disappointing. While new and current customer are getting more DISGRUNTLED about the lack of service and stock, they've been working the release of their latest new profit producing products💩☠
chill out man. we are literally still in the middle of a global pandemic that is hammering global supply chains
Name checks out✅
If you want to help, go down to the nearest dock or railyard and ask for a job because they’re fucked right now and have been for a year.
Name checks out✅Don't talk about it👉Be about it. YOU want to help🙋♂️You know where to go🤷♀️
My Dude, you need to learn how supply chains work.
They are not going to cancel an accessories order just because they haven't received goods from another supplier.
They are not making these themselvea, instead of making a bike or caboose, it's an entirely different product and unrelated.
My dude, I'm well aware of how successful businesses establish steady shipping schedules to maintain adequate stock. My point is with $150M in funding, that should be a non issue by now. But it's not.
Also, anybody can make these themselves🤷♀️Its not hard🧠Having a 3D printer, you should knows this
The funding is irrelevant with a global pandemic disrupting supply chains.
These accessories would be terrible to 3d print. It’s basically a large flat sheet. 3D printers don’t often have build areas that large, and are most cost effective when producing complex shapes that would otherwise require expensive injection moulds. Most FDM printers would lack strength on such a large piece, would be brittle and would require a lot of finishing. Laser cutting would be far more effective.
It would seem likely that you don’t know what you are talking about.
No one with a 3d printer would stoop this low.
Hence way more awesome accessories could be made
Waste of time/resources
It would, indeed, without knowing what I'm really talking about
International treaties(exceptions) and agreements have been made. Improvements are ongoing and more underway. This headline is old news, like back during the viral TP HYPE old news.
$150M means manufacturer expansion, LATER rather than sooner I guess. Think big pic Mack🌌
