In person consult with Dr. Elist (8 Weeks Post Op) addressing my concerns

Concerns: -Implant protrusion -Indentation on the bottom side of my shaft -Ingrown hairs

I just had a consultation with Dr. Elist in regards to some minor complications stated above. He said to come in at anytime during the week and would see me in between his surgeries. He understood my concerns of protrusion and pushed towards stretching the ligament. He compared the edges of the implant similarly to if you were to straighten out and bend your finger. When you bend your knuckle, the sides of the knuckles point out similarly to the implant. Once the implant loosens and elongation begin instead of the implant being scrunched up the finger loosens and hangs more appropriately since it is not fighting against anything allowing a more natural flaccid look. My protrusion isn’t bad by any means, but hopefully this will help clear the air for others with bigger concerns. Since my ligament is so tight he prescribed me 20mg of viagra to take every other night to fast forward the process of stretching the ligament. The indentation has gotten better and he stated as I continue sexual activity, elongation and consistent erection will sort it out. He then removed the ingrown hairs, told me to put neosporin on for the next few days and handed me a bottle of Scarse. I have a follow up appointment in 4 weeks. Being a 45 minute drive definitely helps eliminate my overthinking capabilities and feel more comfortable/confident to find solutions easing my mind to an extent still during this journey.
