Question about my antique lamp socket

Hi everybody, I just got a L-1 table Lamp which I assume to be at least 50 years old or something. There seems to be something missing at the Socket. When I hold an E27 bulb onto the socket the bulb lights up. There is just no way to screw in the bulb. If you have any recommendations on how I can fix my lamp I’d love to hear. Thanks!

Tough to tell from this picture. My guess is it is a different size socket. You can try posting a picture that shows the relationship between the lamp thread size and the socket size. Worst case you should be able to replace the socket.
