PSA: play Fire 'n Ice. Taylor made for the NES online library and a hidden gem.
I grew up in the '80s and thought I played all the great puzzle games on the market. I was wrong. Fire 'N Ice might be the best one of them all, right up there with Kickle Cubicle and Lolo if you ever played those.
There's about 100 levels. Most of them are fairly simple and straightforward, but once awhile, especially toward the end you come across a puzzle that seriously made me think "the game screwed up, there's no way to solve it." The puzzle design is incredibly well thought out. The developers must have spent hundreds of hours coming up with them. If they had awards back then, they probably would won some.
What's also great is how convenient it was to play it on the Switch. Having the ability to rewind time just made this whole playthrough much more enjoyable. Like this level.
Anyway, just wanted to share and encourage you to play it if you're on the fence and thank Nintendo (because they read Reddit 😛) for bringing it to the NES library, otherwise I'd have never played it.
