4K HDR dashboard?
Sooooo I woke up this morning to see my dashboard is now in HDR on my series x. Anyone else seeing this? It may be 4K as well, but it just looks so much better.

Not for me? Stable release or one of the tester channels? My dashboard is the same non hdr, 1080p mess it was before.

Every once in a while my dash board colors will be oversaturated....and I have to reset my TV. But that would be nice to have a higher resolution board along with hdr. One day maybe MS will do that without using any resources from memory using techniques of some sort. I see it happening.

Im also in alpha but not noticing any changes. Maybe the update hasnt eeven rolled for me im GMT-3 its 11am in Argnetina.

I'm calling BS on this.
Not trying to start anything here man. Just noticed a dramatic difference this morning, and when launching games it doesn’t do the weird flicker to hdr in between anymore.
If there was going to be a 4K HDR update to the dashboard, there would have been word from Microsoft about this in an update. I don't know what you're seeing, if anything, but it's not a 4K HDR dashboard.
Totally agree, as it’s a much requested feature. I’m in the alpha insider ring, but no announcements there either. Not trying to blow smoke, just trying to see if I’m losing my mind or if there are others out there seeing the same thing.
So you are running alpha build now then? And did you get a new alpha build today?
(and why on earth didn't you say in your opening post that you were running alpha?)
You probably should've mentioned you're in the alpha ring in your post.
