Is the game glitching really bad for anyone else ? (PC)

So i started up Skyrim today and my game is glitching like all hell. When i pull up the map screen, i can see all my places ive traveled to, but instead of showing landscape it is red. I walked into a town and half the town disappeared and everyone started killing each other for no reason. My character turned into a silhouette and has no detail other than shape. To top it off, it crashes 5 minutes after i start up the game every single time i try. Anyone else having issues ?
