Height differences and sex. I need your help!

My boyfriend and I have been dating over 2 months now. Recently, we decided to start having sex. It was my first time and really, nothing went wrong. It was great, even. We had a blast, and then we had a blast again and then we had a blast every day for the rest of the week. Mild pain the first couple of times, nothing unexpected and easily dealt with.

HOWEVER!~

I'm very short. Four foot, ten inches. He is a little over six feet.

I'm very new to the whole shebang and I've been doing a little research on positions that would work best for both of us and help kind of fix the height issue, but I was wondering if you guys could help me too. At the moment, propping him up on pillows so he's reclined but not seated and me being on top has kind of worked, except I'm not very good on top. But we can't do this at his apartment, because his mattress is in the middle of the room (And it can't be moved, because there's bookshelves all around the walls and then the door) and I'd rather not in my dorm, because the only place my bed really works is right next to the door AND he'd be against the hallway wall, so people would hear the thump-thump-thump of a good time being had.

So, those more experienced than I, what are your suggestions? And hey, if you want to throw in just some general sex advice on how I can make it better for my boyfriend and I, feel free, I'd love the help.
