How I'm playing Skyrim this time.
I realized playing through it last time that in order to progress much further than level 40ish, I had to start using abilities that weren't native to my character. To get to level 81, I'd have to adopt, basically, an entirely new playstyle.
To avoid this, this time, I'm going to use a few exploits to evenly level all the skills I'm not using. Projected result: Higher difficulty, more even leveling.
Currently, I am level 20ish on an archer with 50ish archery, 20ish light armor, etc.
Rules: Each level, before you level, train 5 times in a skill you wont be using. Firstly, I do pick pocking with a hobo. You train, then steal the money back, rinse and repeat. You can do it with other skill trainers as well, jacking up skills you don't use (in my case, heavy armor, block, conjuration, etc).
Recommendation: Plan your skills out before you do this, and avoid artificially bumping up those skills. My skills were Archery, smithing, enchanting, sneak, light armor, lockpick, alchemy, and two-handed.
Try and level those regularly, while artificially pumping up other skills and you should experience a fairly challenging, even leveled game.
Tell me what you think.
