Just found a small cat outside. Obviously not a stray. How can I get her back home, reddit?

She's just reaching adulthood, but still very kitten-like; in size and demeanor. She's not getting along with my other cat and is hostile to the chihuahua.

She is very loving and will not shut the fuck up. Squealing like a stuck pig at the moment.

I've never "rescued" someone's cat before, I'm not sure what to do. But I definitely want her to get back to her home (or find her one). In the USA, northeast Alabama. What should I do?

EDIT: Posted on the local craigslist lost and found, and taking her to the vet tomorrow.
