Should I stay in my BFA program?
I am currently in college working on getting my BFA in theatre performance. Aka I take acting, dancing, singing, speech, stage combat, and physical theatre. I have a few problems with my school though. Our theatre department is, for lack of better words, a little lackluster. Most people are not talented and most of them don't know it. Then on top of that I have to take gen ed classes that take most of my homework time leaving me with little time left for doing what I love to do, theatre.
In the long run I want to work in film and I know I have to start in theatre and that is what I plan to do but... I don't know if I should just go to a conservatory and only focus on what I want to do, performing or if I should stay in college because of the degree...
What do you think?? tl;dr I'm in school for my BFA, but gen eds take up to much time, should I go to a conservatory?
