TIL you can wear 2 necklaces in Skyrim, but not 2 rings.

I was just making some potions, so as usual I equipped my necklace and ring that boost alchemy, and I was shocked to learn I had 2 necklaces equipped. WHY CAN I HAVE TWO NECKLACES, BUT NOT AT LEAST 2 RINGS?!
