What is the correct way to position your view?
Now, I know that control groups are awesome, so hopping my game camera from my army to my robot houses is pretty solid / easy. My main problem comes when I start expanding and making lots of robot houses in different parts of the map and having lots of scouts.
I know the minimap is great for hopping around as well, but it's all the way down in the corner of the screen.
I also know that I can bind camera positions to shift-<num> hotkeys for fast camera navigation. I find this feature hard to use.
I also know that I can use the arrow keys, the middle mouse button, and moving my mouse to the edges of the screen, but these methods seem slow.
My question is which of these methods (or combination of methods) is the generally accepted "correct" way to bounce my view around the map? Should I practice binding hotkeys? Should I practice navigating with the minimap? What say you r/starcraft?!
