What has someone done to you where they called you out on your lack of common sense only to then go and show a similar deficiency on their part?
I'd love to hear your stories. I'll start. My family is in the process of moving. I had one of my friends over and he misunderstood me and didn't realize he was going to be helping us, so he was grumpy all day. Anyway, we're on a limited amount of time and already tired so we just put stuff in boxes and go. The whole time he keeps going on and on about how we need to secure the stuff with soft items so it won't scratch or get damaged. I'm exhausted so I oblige him some but not every time. He is completely right of course but I just didn't care at this point. We take the stuff over to the other house and the whole way there you can hear the glasses and mugs shifting in their boxes so we needed to be careful opening the back hatch. We started bringing boxes in to the new house. As I walk out of the house I see him run up to the car and basically rip the back hatch open. The box of coffee mugs comes tumbling out and they shatter across the ground. He then picks up a medicine bottle that was packed with them and says, "Well, this didn't break." It wasn't a huge deal because they are just mugs (although two of my favorites were among them) but I just couldn't believe he'd do that after lecturing me about packing them properly.
TL;DR: Friend lectures me about packing fragile stuff properly and then breaks our glasses.
What are your stories?
